Symptoms Of Anxiety
Attack

Even though I would never wish anyone
to experience an anxiety attack, there are many people who
will come down with them. I experienced a few in my
younger days, right after college, but fortunately I
was able to get them under control pretty quickly. There are
other people who are not quite so luck, and these people really
need to know the symptoms of anxiety attack so
that they can tell when one is about to happen. This way, they
will be able to go somewhere where they feel comfortable and
safe until the feeling or attack has passed.
One of the most prominent symptoms of
anxiety attack is the feeling like a person is unable
to breathe. This was always a big problem for me, and I
would have to take huge gulping breaths. I knew I could
breathe, but be that as it may, my body did not know it. This
comes along with a feeling of extreme panic that my
world just might come to an end. There is nothing
about this that is rational, and even the
person experiencing the attack knows this in the back of
their mind. However, this is the body’s way of dealing with the
situation, so it just has to happen. What is confusing is that
two people with the exact same problems will not always
end up the same. One individual might develop the symptoms
of anxiety attack while the other individual will not. No one
is really sure why this is.
There are a lot of times when the symptoms of
anxiety attack will feel like there is something else is very
wrong with your body. Some people even feel like they are
having a heart attack. This is not uncommon the first time that
someone has to deal with one of these attacks, but it can be
mistaken for that at any time. The big dilemma with the
symptoms of anxiety attack feeling like a heart attack is that
if your not quite sure, then you'll have to go to the
hospital to find out. This will allow you to find out
if it is or is not a heart attack, and then the
correct attention can be brought to the real problem.
When the symptoms of anxiety attack are known, not only
will you be able to feel one coming on, you can more
accurately explain to your doctor how you're feeling both
emotionally and physically right before it happens.
This will help your doctor understand what is really
happening and it will enable him to treat the
situation more efficiently. Anxiety does not have to rule
your life, and it is not something that you have to live with.
Treatment is usually very effective once the root cause of the
problem and proper treatment is discovered.
